PLAYING THE VIOLIN: ANOTHER CURRENCY OF WEALTH
Wealth is easy to recognise when it appears as property, financial capital, an investment portfolio, art, exceptional cars or access to remarkable experiences. Some forms of wealth, however, cannot be separated from the person who possesses them.
The ability to play the violin belongs to that category. Money can provide an exceptional instrument, expert guidance, time and an environment in which serious learning becomes possible, but the capacity itself has to be developed in the player's hearing, perception, body, attention and understanding.
