HOW THE MENTORSHIP WORKS
PLAY IN TUNE is for violinists who can hear when a note is wrong and want to understand how to make the intended pitch more repeatable. Over 12 weeks, we work individually online with your own playing.
I observe your playing on screen and help you identify the relationships between hand organisation, movement, physical sensation and pitch. Visual demonstration and practical explanation give you specific things to observe and work on.
Between sessions, mirror work and focused practice help you connect what you hear with what you see and feel. You learn to recognise the conditions that produce a note and reproduce them with greater awareness.
The aim is to replace guessing and endless after-the-note correction with a system you can observe, understand and regulate in your own practice.
